Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Parlance, a product of Onfolio Holdings, Inc. ("Parlance," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you in connection with the website at useparlance.ai and the Parlance application (together, the "Service"). For questions about this Policy, email contact [at] onfolio [dot] com.
Information We Collect
Access request information. When you submit the access request form, we collect your name, email address, company name, ticker symbol (if provided), role, and a description of what you intend to publish. This information is stored in our customer relationship management system.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, business name, password (stored as a bcrypt hash), and any third-party platform credentials you choose to connect, including credentials for Typefully, WordPress, ActiveCampaign, and Anthropic. Connected API keys are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption.
Content you submit. We collect and store the content you submit to the Service, including your voice profile, strategy documents, house rules, drafts, ideas, brainstorm sessions, memory entries, reference content, and content log.
Usage information. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and request counts.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate and provide the Service, including generating drafts in your voice, running automated workflows, applying your house rules, and presenting relevant context; to send transactional communications relating to your account, billing, and security; to send occasional product updates; and to improve, secure, and develop the Service.
We do not use your content to train models shared with other customers. Your voice profile, strategy documents, and writing samples are scoped to your account and are not used to generate output for other customers.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We do not aggregate or cross-process personal information between customer accounts.
How We Share Information
Service providers. We share information with third-party service providers that help us operate the Service. These include Anthropic for AI model processing; ActiveCampaign for customer relationship management and access request communications; Cloudflare for hosting and edge delivery; Firecrawl and Jina for web content retrieval used by research features; and DataForSEO for search engine data used by research features. Each service provider receives only the information necessary to perform its function.
Channels you direct. When you instruct the Service to publish or send content through Typefully, WordPress, or ActiveCampaign, the relevant content is transmitted to those services at your direction.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information in response to a valid legal request, including a subpoena or court order. Where permitted by law and reasonable under the circumstances, we will notify you of the request.
Data Retention
Account information and content. We retain your account information and content while your account is active. Following account deletion, we retain a copy for thirty (30) days to allow for restoration, after which it is permanently deleted.
Access request information. We retain access request information until you ask us to delete it or until there has been no activity on the request for eighteen (18) months, whichever occurs first.
Billing and tax records. We retain billing and tax records for seven (7) years, as required by applicable law.
Aggregated usage information. We retain anonymized, aggregated usage information indefinitely.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email contact [at] onfolio [dot] com. We respond within thirty (30) days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), respectively. We will honor those rights upon verified request through the same contact channel.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields such as API keys and credentials, bcrypt password hashing, role-scoped access controls, and logging of administrative actions.
The Service is not currently SOC 2 audited. We will describe our security practices in more detail upon written request.
Cookies and Tracking
We set a session cookie when you sign in to the Service. We may use Cloudflare's built-in analytics, which is IP-anonymized and does not set cross-site cookies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under sixteen (16). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen (16), we will delete that information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We will provide notice of material changes to active users at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect.
