An AI ghostwriter that starts with what you know

Generic AI can write a LinkedIn post. It can't write your LinkedIn post, because it doesn't know what you've decided, why, or how you'd put it. A useful AI ghostwriter starts there.

Short answer

An AI ghostwriter drafts content in your name and voice, from your experience, for you to review and approve. Parlance does this for executives, particularly public-company CEOs: it trains on your own writing and strategy, draws ideas out of a conversation about your decisions, and drafts LinkedIn posts, newsletters, articles and investor emails. Run it yourself for $99/month, or have a dedicated content lead run it for $1,999/month.

What makes ghostwriting work, with or without AI

A good human ghostwriter does three things before writing a word. They learn how you talk. They interview you until they find the idea that's actually yours. And they keep track of what you've said before so you don't repeat yourself or contradict yourself. The writing is the last step.

Most AI tools skip straight to the last step. You give a topic, it gives a draft, and the draft sounds plausible but not like you. Parlance follows the human sequence instead:

  • It learns your voice from your writing, strategy documents and published content.
  • It interviews you. A guided conversation draws out the thinking behind your decisions: the reason, the exception, the detail you almost left out.
  • It keeps the thread. Your goals, sources and editorial preferences stay together, and Parlance remembers what you've rejected and what has performed.
  • It drafts one piece at a time, for review, then adapts the approved version for other channels.

What it writes

One brief can become a blog post or article, an X thread, a LinkedIn post, an ActiveCampaign email and a press release. For public-company executives, typical work includes investor emails, shareholder letters, CEO LinkedIn posts, strategic explainers and earnings-support content.

Because the ideas come from your own experience, the pieces differ from each other. One decision might produce three articles, each answering a different reader question, rather than three versions of the same post.

Choose something else if…

  • LinkedIn growth is the whole goal. Supergrow includes Content DNA voice profiles, AI interviews through its Postcast feature, scheduling, a carousel maker and profile analytics. Taplio adds scheduling, analytics, AI post writing on Growth and lead outreach on Pro. Parlance doesn't do scheduling-led audience growth.
  • You want a book or a speech. Long-form books and spoken drafts are a different craft; Parlance doesn't claim to do them.
  • You're comfortable building your own setup. A Claude Project with your writing samples and a style guide is cheap and capable. You'll handle ideas, review and consistency yourself.
  • You need a brand voice for a whole marketing team. That's a different job. See AI writers for marketing.

Why public-company executives need more than a writer

For a founder of a private company, a slightly overconfident LinkedIn post is a style problem. For a public-company CEO, it can be a disclosure problem. Parlance's house rules are Reg FD-aware, avoid stock-promotion phrasing and keep in-progress deal details out of drafts. Review is staged: the main piece first, then each channel version. Management, IR and counsel keep their role in approving the final communication.

That's also why Parlance works for IR firms: each client keeps their own voice, strategy, past communications and review preferences in a separate workspace, so no two clients sound the same.

Self-serve or done for you

Self-service ($99/month) includes the full platform with 1 voice profile and 1 seat, and suits an executive or communications lead who will run it weekly.

The managed service ($1,999/month) is closest to a traditional ghostwriter. A dedicated content lead learns your business, audience and voice, starting with a voice calibration session. They draft, work through your edits and hold a weekly strategic review with you on what to publish, skip and queue. Your time goes into the experience, decisions and review that need you.

Parlance is invite-only. Request access and we'll prepare a voice-matched sample: one communication in your voice, one channel adaptation, and a short summary of the voice and editorial rules inferred from your writing.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI ghostwriter?
Software, sometimes paired with a person, that drafts content in your name and your voice: LinkedIn posts, newsletters, articles and emails. You stay the author. You supply the experience and judgment, and you approve what goes out.
Can AI really write in my voice?
It can get close if it has enough of your real writing and context. Voice is more than tone: it's the arguments you make, the examples you reach for and what you'd never say. Parlance trains on your writing, strategy documents and published content, and remembers drafts you've rejected, so it improves as you edit.
How much does an AI ghostwriter cost?
From about $20/month for a general assistant you set up yourself (Claude Pro is $20/month billed monthly) to $39–$69/month for LinkedIn-focused tools like Supergrow and Taplio. Parlance self-service is $99/month. The Parlance managed service, with a dedicated content lead drafting for you, is $1,999/month.
Is it ethical to use an AI ghostwriter?
Executives have used ghostwriters and speechwriters for a long time. The test is the same: the ideas and experience should be yours, and you should read and approve everything published under your name. Parlance is designed around that: it starts from your experience and stages review before anything is adapted or scheduled.
Which AI ghostwriter is best for LinkedIn?
If LinkedIn growth is the main goal, a LinkedIn-specific tool such as Supergrow or Taplio has scheduling, analytics and engagement features Parlance doesn't. If LinkedIn is one channel among investor emails, newsletters and articles, and the voice has to hold up across all of them, Parlance is the better fit.
